Slowness, crashing, error messages and many other problems arise regarding to the use of Mozilla Firefox. These problems with Firefox can be fixed by following the troubleshooting methods. If one method is not working, user can choose another methods.

  • Restart your computer. Sometimes, problems can be fixed only by restarting the computer system and then starting it again.
  • Clear the cookies and cashes.
  • Restart Firefox in safe mode. Firefox safe mode is a troubleshooting that disables all extensions and uses default toolbar settings and controls among the other things.
  • Firefox can be reinstalled. If Firefox is not working properly, we can uninstall it again it can be installed.
  • Refresh Firefox. The refresh Firefox features can fix many issues by restoring our Firefox profile to its default state while saving our essential information.
  • Create a new Firefox profile.
  • Firefox should be unblocked from connecting to the internet.
  • Accessibility features are not fully supported in multi-process Firefox. Restart Firefox to change it back to single process mode.
  • Mozilla does not charge for software, upgrades or technical supports. hence, users should be aware to protect themselves from them.
  • As we use Firefox, we may be selected to rate our experience. Our feedback helps us to understand our needs so that we can act on them quickly.
  • User should reset their Firefox master password if they have forgotten it.
  • If Firefox has trouble playing music, video on a windows computer, we can install the media feature pack, if it's missing.
  • If Firefox keeps crashing when we try to start it and other solutions don't work, we can simply reinstall it to fix the problem.
  • To understand our browser performance, Firefox health report let us know how well our browser is performing and what steps we can take to improve it.
  • Firefox won't save settings or remember information. Hence, user should be aware towards any kind of proxy.
  • Most problems with Firefox can be solved by working through the troubleshooting steps. Just start at the beginning and keep going until the problem is fixed.
