Yahoo! Mail- Current Status & Problems

Yahoo mail is a free mail services launched in 1997 through the American company parent Yahoo. It makes simple and efficient use of sending, receiving, and managing messages. Basically, it provides four different email plans, in which three are for personal use and another is paid  for business use.  However, users are facing some problems regarding Yahoo mail. Hence, it is required to fix those problems.

             

Problems regarding yahoo mail are:-

(1.) Users are unable to sign in and they also have security concerns. It can be fixed by 2 methods. Those are following-

• Fix the problems signing in
• Recognise and secure a hacked account

(2.) Problems arise during sending and receiving mails. A message sent to the other person is not received by that person. User is also unable to receive all the mails.

(3.) Loading is also going very slow and some buttons and menus are also missing. It can be resolved by following methods-

• Lost and deleted messages should be recovered
• Deleted or missing contacts should be restored

(4.) Receiving spams

     To overcome from this problem, unwanted emails and spam should be reduced

• Log-in (60%)
• Read mail (20%)
• Website (19%)

User are not being able to sign on due to too many redirects, that is why they are getting error messages due to unwanted redirects. Much more problems are coming like constantly asking about passwords and not accepting the password. After entering password, it asks whether user is robot or not and then ask for password again. This process continues in loop. Hence, it becomes little bit irritating. In many cases, users have not access to their recovery email, and for some reasons, it doesn’t recognise the password. It gives result only by saying error code 18 and check internet connection & won’t display emails you click on. However, this is not the problem of internet connection. It is only the problem because of Yahoo mail. On other perspective, yahoo mail is working properly on iphone, but it is creating problems in android phone. Problems are coming during sending or deleting mails, or users can’t switch out of the new beta email can’t get contacts to pop up in composing the mail. In some cases, users are receiving key to access their primary email but they get continuous loop to resubmit when using it.It is really a serious problem, however users are switching to different services instead of using Yahoo mail.
